My Code Hero’s mission is to educate and inspire middle and high school students from under-resourced communities. Our lessons integrate the use of cutting edge technology and didactics that teach leadership skills via formal and non formal education.
Why Do We Offer Free Courses?
One of the biggest reasons students dropout of college is because of the cost of education and the lack of direction from superb industry mentors. Providing access to quality mentors and education is vital for survival of one’s academic, social and/or political career.
This reduces the unemployment rate and helps to develop a highly educated workforce and citizens.

Where Do Donations Go?
All course prices on our site are suggested donations. 100% of the donations go to supporting the communities we serve. Donations also cover the massive amount of free tutoring, speaking engagements and traveling that our teachers do for the communities we represent.
Who Are Our Teachers?
The team at My Code Hero is made up of volunteers from the best companies in the nation. Our teachers work for some of the top companies in the nation like, Disney, marvel comics and Cartoon Network, to name just a few. Our administration staff are top doctors, PhDs, accountants, lawyers and teachers.
